Winter in Reith i. Alpbachtal

A skiing holiday in what is probably Tyrol's most beautiful valley. The mountains around the beautiful Alpbach valley are covered in  deep snow. Surrounded by white slopes and forests with a thick dusting of snow. The Wiedersbergerhorn with its 2,128m height protectively keeps away all the worries of everyday life. But that's not all. The ski area of Reith im Alpbachtal is part of the ‘Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau’. In this family-friendly ski resort there is a flat practice area at the bottom of the slope near the Reitherkogel cable car. Two ‘baby lifts’, a conveyor belt, a carousel and a restaurant with a sun terrace are the ideal ingredients for a successful skiing week. The bottom cable car station in Alpbach can be reached in only five minutes using the free ski bus. Pure Tyrol, including skiing in the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau with 145km of pistes, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice skating,... All this and much more can be discovered in the Alpbachtal ski area in Tyrol.

For those who can't get enough of skiing during the day, night skiing on the well-lit floodlit Reither Kogel slope is recommended. Away from the ski slopes, the flat and expansive sunny plateau of Reith i.A. is ideal for delightful winter hikes.
